I was born in a small town in upstate New York, and since that time I have lived in five states and been up and down the eastern seaboard more than once. Although there are several things I miss about New York, I’ve called central West Virginia my home for over two decades, and consider myself to be a transplanted native.
I enjoy the cinema, the theatre, anything out of the ordinary or paranormal, weird or freaky, and simply experiencing the world around me. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and I am very much an animal lover. In addition to my bipedal family I currently share my life with Cheyenne, my black lab, and two cats named Shadow and Patch.
One of the reasons I love animals so much is because they are honest. What you see is what you get and that is very important to someone like me who is generally a trusting person. I see the best in someone until they show me their worst, and because of this I am often left surprised and shocked. Even so, I believe that most people do their best with what they have at the time. As they learn more, they behave differently, no-one decides to screw up their lives, it is the outcome of too many poor decisions.
With that said, I think it is very important to enjoy the journey, whether on a trip or just traveling through life. We are all connected, one to another, and to our world as well and if we don‘t focus, and pay attention to what‘s around us we could miss the best part of what it means to live.
